Introduction to AR Glass Products

Cem-FIL® AR glass fiber products are produced in Alcala, Spain located just 56 miles north of Spain's capital of Madrid. These products are produced by Saint-Gobain Vetrotex, the world leader in reinforcement solutions.

Cem-FIL® AR glass products were developed specially to reinforce concrete and mortars. They are high modulus fibers that are 10 times stiffer than polypropylene with an associated high tensile strength 3 to 4 times stronger than steel. Therefore, they are ideal as  reinforcing fibers for cement-based matrices. Cem-FIL® AR glass fibers have been used extensively in the GFRC business for the last 25 years.
